GOTBA Victoria is The Greyhound Owners Trainers Breeders Association of Victoria Inc, a volunteer run, not-for-profit association whose elected Committee works for our members, with our Industry regulator Greyhound Racing Victoria on the constant betterment of greyhound racing, whilst co-operating with all
clubs and interested parties.
GOTBA Victoria seeks to safeguard and promote the interest of all members, including owners, trainers, interested persons, attendees and breeders of greyhounds in Victoria. We aim to encourage and foster the success of greyhound racing as well as improving the welfare and retirement of greyhounds and the education of participants.
In the words of our former president, Sandra Reed:
“The Greyhound Owners, Trainers, Breeders Association of Victoria, a volunteer-run not-for-profit member-based organisation, is fighting hard for the betterment of the sport. We will engage in discussions on matters crucial to the sport and work with others to develop practical solutions for improvement. We are passionate about promoting, facilitating and protecting greyhound racing, its dogs and its participants, and we want to nurture a community that values greyhound racing as an enjoyable, safe and inclusive sport.”
